Next to my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, my family is my greatest joy. My wife, Vickki, and our son, Barhon, are at the heart of my life, and I treasure every moment with them.
Vickki is my best friend and the love of my life. We share a passion for traveling and creating memories together. A dedicated eighth-grade Language Arts teacher, Vickki pours her heart into her roles as a wife, mother, and educator, inspiring everyone around her.
Our son, Barhon, is an adventure enthusiast who loves skydiving, wakeboarding, and exploring the thrill of life. A proud graduate of the University of Georgia—Go Dawgs!—he brings energy and excitement wherever he goes.
I grew up in the small town of Hoboken, nestled in southeast Georgia. My faith journey began at Hoboken Baptist Church, where I was actively involved in the children’s and youth music ministry. My grandmother, the church organist, introduced me to music, teaching me piano from an early age. By the age of three, I could play the melody of Amazing Grace.
At 12 years old, I recognized my need for a Savior and committed my life to Jesus Christ. While pursuing a degree in hospital administration, I felt God’s call to full-time music ministry. Surrendering my plans for His, I returned to Brewton-Parker College to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance.
Since then, God has blessed me with opportunities to serve incredible churches alongside gifted pastors. Today, I am honored to serve as the Worship & Music Catalyst with the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, helping others use music to glorify God and inspire His people.
