Today I had my last epidural steroid shot. Most of you know I was in a very bad automobile wreck in 06. I broke my neck and had to have surgery to put a rod in my neck. It is a privilege to even be walking around and for that I am a blessed man. A few months ago I was having some back trouble and thought I had hurt my knee exercising one morning but after a trip to the doctor, I found out I have a bulging disc in my lower back and they wanted for me to have a series of epidural steroids. I have finished those now, and time will only tell if they will relieve the pain or if something else will have to be done.
As I have thought about how I felt it was my knee, but it was my back I am reminded that most of the time in our life, we think we know the problem, but it's the Father who really knows what is going on and what the real problem is. Most of the time in my life, I want to fix the problems sin causes in my life rather than fixing the sin. God will show you, you as our pastor frequently says God show me, me. He will do it, we just have to be willing to see the real us sometimes. God is good and He is wanting us to ask for his help. I pray you will allow God to show you, you!
