I had a first yesterday! I have been having very bad pain in my legs since September 09. Last week I visited an orthopedic surgeon and he made the recommendation that I try epidural steroid therapy. Well I did it and IT HURT! Wow, I didn't know what to expect, but I didn't think it would hurt that much. The good thing, this side of the shot is I feel so much better. I honestly believe that the shot was worth the "price" and the "pain". I am so thankful today that my leg pain seems to have subsided. Praise the Lord.
I hope that everyone has had and will have a great year. I pray I will live closer to the Lord in 2010.

I can't believe that 2010 is almost here. Where did 2009 go?
I am eager to learn some new songs and bring back some old songs. I would love to hear a song recommendation from you. What are some songs you would love to hear this year at EBC. Come Let Us Worship - EBC Choir from ebchurch on Vimeo.  I am always amazed at the people who make up the worship ministry of Emmanuel Baptist in Blackshear, Ga. This weekend, December 12 and 13 at 6pm, the complete worship ministry will come together to present a musical presentation called "We Believe". It's an honor to watch the children, our students, college kids, adults and Sr. adults join together to sing praises. The music this year is so touching, songs like "O Holy Night", "He Came all the Way" and "I Believe" will stir you.
